Düsseldorf Chamber of Industry and Commerce
The Düsseldorf Chamber of Industry and Commerce represents the interests of approximately 95,000 member companies from manufacturing, trade and the service industry in the state capital of Düsseldorf and ten cities in the Mettmann area.
The Chamber is a business-to-business service provider. It supports apprentices and companies that take on trainees in all issues surrounding vocational education, and it represents local businesses in communication with politicians, government agencies and the public. The Düsseldorf Chamber of Industry and Commerce also provides comprehensive information and consulting services to help companies with every aspect of doing business overseas.
For over ten years now, the India Desk at the Düsseldorf Chamber of Industry and Commerce has been a central point of contact, providing comprehensive consulting services for companies that are interested in the Indian market or in expanding their business on the Indian subcontinent. The Düsseldorf Chamber of Industry and Commerce offers extensive information and a wide range of events on essential subjects such as customs and certification, distribution channels, setting up production, and intercultural issues. The IKD will formalise and expand on this offering.
