In 2024, nearly 22,000 exhibitors presented their products and services at Messe Düsseldorf’s trade fairs, to an audience of almost one million industry professionals. More than 115,000 visitors from India attended Messe Düsseldorf’s globally leading trade fairs in Düsseldorf between 2014 and 2023, making India the second-largest source of visitors from outside of Europe.
Messe Düsseldorf has maintained a presence on the Indian subcontinent since 1982, and when the organisation restructured its Asian business, it defined India as one of the most important growth markets for the future. Messe Düsseldorf India Pvt., a subsidiary of Messe Düsseldorf founded in 2007, organises 16 trade fairs in Mumbai and New Delhi. Trade fairs in India include MEDICAL FAIR INDIA, Wire India, Tube India, METEC India, ProWine and PLASTINDIA.
